Tinter Battles™

Window Tinting Championships

Competition Information

The Team’s Automotive Division will showcase the best in team's window tinting competition, bringing together 12 teams across two high-stakes days.

Day 1 Prelims

Every side of (6) Tesla Model 3s will be filled as 12 teams BATTLE head-to-head, with one team on the driver’s side doors and the other on the passenger’s side doors. Each team will have 25 minutes to complete their two side windows before judges score the installations. At the end of the round, the top five highest scoring teams will advance to the finals.

Day 2 Finals

The advancing five teams will be joined by the defending champions, Team Autobahn, by making a field of (6) total teams.

Finalists must complete all four doors, quarter windows, and the rear glass within a 60-minute limit.

This is a winner-take-all competition where one team will claim not only a $5,000 cash prize but also the Tinter Battles™ World Championship Title in the Automotive Division. Along with the crown comes exposure on a multi-million–viewed platform that serves as a catalyst for professionals in the craft. What competitors choose to do with that fame and glory is entirely up to them. To ensure transparency and fairness, all judging will be recorded, broadcasted, and full scores will be released. Competitors are permitted to use their preferred film brand, provided their supplier is a supporter and sponsor of the show, and must bring their own tools.

The Heat Shrink Battles™ is a high-energy, head-to-head competition where skill and precision determine who advances. A total of 32 single-entry competitors will step into the battleground, each using their preferred film so long as the supplier is an official Tinter Battles™ vendor.

Day 1, the field of 32 is divided into 8 heats of 4 competitors each. Only the first person to complete their shrink in each heat advances, leaving 8 semifinalists.

Day 2, those 8 competitors face off in single-elimination 1-on-1 matches, progressing through quarterfinals, semifinals, and into the grand final. The ultimate victor will be crowned the Heat Shrink Battles World Champion, taking home the red-strap Tinter Battles™ Championship Belt and earning their place in history.

Rules

  • Competitors may use their preferred films, provided the supplier is a registered Tinter Battles™ vendor.
  • The first competitor to complete a verified shrink advances.
  • Film damage within the installable area results in immediate disqualification.
  • A shrink is not official until approved by the referee and judge on site.
  • Competitors may use any preferred shrinking method, but only the end result is judged.
